This website is still Under Construction. Welcome to the Unplugged home page. Our organisation was founded in 1997 to help disadvantaged, disabled and unemployed members of our community to gain valuable and meaningful work experience to better their lives. At the same time, we provide an Environment Agency licensed facility to the public for disposal of old electrical appliances. This service diverts waste electrical products from landfill or incineration which in turn saves public money and helps the environment. The service is run entirely by volunteers and is completely free to the public. You can read more about our service and history on the about us page. Thank you for visiting.
This project is currently funded by the Reaching Communities Programme offered by The Big Lottery.
